We educate, build power, and advocate for the world we want. Here are the themes of our work.

Bridging between the United States and Palestine

As a Palestinian organization in the United States with a strong connection to organizing in Palestine, Adalah Justice Project connects people, campaigns and messaging in both contexts. Adalah Justice Project works to facilitate coordination and conversations between the US and Palestine. Partners in Palestine are seeking more information about movement work in the United States, not only on issues related to Palestinian rights, but also on other social justice movements, lessons learned from other organizations, and parallels between the two contexts. To fulfill this need for deeper understanding, AJP organizes webinars, convenings, and conversations to enable robust conversations between movement organizers in Palestine and the United States.

Advocacy efforts to shift policy

As the U.S. movement for Palestinian rights grows stronger, new opportunities are emerging for developing a sharper discourse and framing, as well as pushing for more just policies, on both a grassroots and decision maker level. Adalah Justice Project strives to embed Palestine into progressive politics by developing messaging, resources, and campaigns to impact policy.

Strengthening cross-movement relationships

Social justice movement partners have offered Palestine unprecedented support in recent years. Adalah Justice Project builds on this support and offers solidarity as part of its principled commitment to joint struggle and collective liberation. Adalah Justice Project works to include an intersectional analysis of Palestine in the global movement for justice. Adalah Justice Project builds on the close partnerships we have developed to offer political education on Palestine and connect the struggle for Palestinian rights to progressive social justice movements in the United States.

Working to develop deeper capacity for advocacy and analysis among Palestinians in the U.S.

In any struggle for justice, it is imperative to center those most impacted by oppression. Palestinians in the United States have an important role to play in their own liberation movement and must be the leaders in shaping the discourse here. Adalah Justice Project works to provide the frameworks, messaging and training that will strengthen advocacy among Palestinians in the United States for their own rights and freedom.
