Stop the Deadly Merger. Oppose Section 219 of the NDAA.

Stop the Deadly Merger. Oppose Section 219 of the NDAA. Scissors cut a connection between U.S. and Israeli military technology and surveillance.
Why now

We have an opening.
Let's use it.

House and Senate Armed Services Committee members and other congressional leaders are negotiating the final FY27 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). This is a critical opportunity to stop the Deadly Merger before it becomes law.

As lawmakers reconcile the two bills, Representative Ro Khanna's office is circulating a letter calling for the removal of Section 219 in the House bill and Section 1217 in the Senate bill.

Call your representative today: urge them to sign Rep. Khanna's letter and publicly oppose policies that deepen U.S. complicity in Israel's ongoing genocide against the people of Gaza. Together, we can push Congress to end U.S. military aid to Israel and stop the Deadly Merger.

What we're fighting

End U.S. military aid.
Stop the Deadly Merger.

Washington is proposing $1.5 trillion in defense funding for FY27. The Deadly Merger provision, Section 219 in the House bill and Section 1217 in the Senate bill, would deepen U.S.-Israel military technology and surveillance ties through joint development, procurement, licensing, and weapons co-production.

Backed by AIPAC and Netanyahu, these arrangements would make military support harder to track and challenge. We need to end U.S. military aid to Israel and stop the partnerships that entrench it. Together, we can push for Palestinian freedom and resources that sustain our communities.

Know the stakes

Your questions, answered.

What is the NDAA?

The National Defense Authorization Act is Congress's annual military policy bill. The campaign targets the U.S.-Israel military technology cooperation provision in the FY2027 bill.

Why are there two section numbers?

The House and Senate each have their own version of the NDAA. The Deadly Merger provision appears as Section 219 in the House bill and Section 1217 in the Senate bill. As lawmakers negotiate a final bill, we’re demanding they remove it entirely, whichever section number it carries.

Is this different from military aid?

Yes. Military aid helps fund weapons purchases. Joint development and production also bind companies, institutions, and supply chains together. Ending U.S. complicity means challenging both.
