Rina Rosenberg (Jabareen) is an American lawyer and a co-founder and the International Advocacy Director of Adalah - The Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel (Adalah). Her work with Adalah over the last 20 years includes research and advocacy before UN, EU and US bodies; outreach to the international media; writing and editing publications; extensive fundraising and institutional development projects. In her capacity, Rina manages Adalah’s international advocacy, fundraising and program implementation, and English publications, a post that intersects with the work of every Adalah staff member. Rina works closely with the Finance Director of Adalah on budgeting, internal spending and income reports, and budget reports to donors; and with the General Director on projects such as organizing external evaluations and strategic planning. Rina also oversees both staff and interns. Prior to working in Israel, she worked as a public defender in NYC and as a clinical supervisor with the Criminal Justice Clinic of Georgetown University Law Center. Rina was a Schell Fellow at Yale Law School in 2005-2006 and 2012-2014.
